Peter F. Novak, CPA

Peter Novak is the Managing Partner of Novak Francella. He has provided services to employee benefit plans, labor unions and not-for-profit organizations throughout his career. His clients include national, regional and local multiemployer plans and labor unions. His responsibilities include consulting on financial, operational and various other matters. He also performs partner supervision of engagements, fraud investigations and litigation support. He speaks on regulatory and financial topics at seminars presented to clients, industry associations and the firm’s personnel.

Peter graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1976, majoring in Economics and Accounting. He is a CPA and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the AICPA, numerous State CPA societies, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Peter was a National Director for the Institute of Management Accountants, he was the President of the IMA Potomac Regional Council and he is a Past President of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the National Association of Accountants. He worked in Washington, D.C. 15 years before transferring in 1991 to Philadelphia.
