Steve Mazur is a Partner in the Philadelphia office. Steve assists in the day-to-day management of the Philadelphia office and the firm’s administration. He has vast experience when it comes to the labor union and employee benefit plan industry. He realizes how critical it is to stay on top of governmental developments that affect the firm’s clients. A creative problem solver, Steve prides himself on his ability to dig deeper into an issue to get a thorough understanding of his clients’ needs. A good relationship builder, his knowledge and experience has contributed to the Firm’s positive reputation with regulators.

Steve has earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He has served in a consultative capacity to FASB with respect to multiemployer benefit plan issues. Steve was also chosen to serve on the Experts Panel of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Quality Center.

Steve is a graduate of Georgetown University. Steve is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, the Maryland Association of CPAs, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
